The plan called for the creation of space within the courtyard that addressed the needs of the bank: a visual feature for the bank, a passive green space, and an activity/ performance area. The centerpiece of the courtyard is the activity area which is tied into a fountain system, the origin point of which forms one of the anchor visual features of the space. Juxtaposed against this water feature are monumental works of sculpture which play against the various features. The courtyard contains a passive seating area canopied with trees and embellished with tables and chairs. A distinctive landscape accruing a visual amenity for the bank and the opportunity for concerts, intimate places to enjoy lunch or just relax and socialize.
