The Shimizu Corporation commissioned MPFP to provide landscape architectural services for Aroma City located in Kamata, on the outskirts of Tokyo. The project encompasses the development of an entire city block and includes the re-design of an existing municipal park, an entry plaza roof garden, and atrium for the civic center, and an internal garden and exterior space for the office complex. The project has a unique underground garage for the parking and storage of bicycles, a primary form of conveyance for the Kamata locals.
